So here it is: the cover to my book!
I gotta say: I love it. Â It really captures the spirit of the book, and the beauty to be found in those random little moments of motherhood. Â The design team at Loyola has my gratitude, and my thanks.
And the book now has its own page on the Loyola Press website! Â Yay!
(I’m a tad excited, if you can’t already tell.)
Not sure how I’ll be able to wait until April 1st to actually hold the book in my hands. Â Then again, Â if two pregnancies have taught me anything, they’ve taught me that time actually passes quickly, and there is an art to enjoying the wait, and the end result is all the sweeter for it. Â Perhaps that’ll prove true with this process as well.
Now that I think about it, I guess seeing the picture of your book’s cover is kind of like seeing a really good ultrasound photo of your baby: it is a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come, and it’s also something you want to share with everyone you know.
Thanks for being willing to ooh and aah over my baby. Â This mama appreciates it greatly.
