Those beautiful, priceless paintings, but “a shadow.” I’m just renewing my love of Mary, but your post reminds me of how worthy of veneration she is, how special she was to be chosen by God, how brave she was to say “Yes,” and how long we can try to digest (and imitate) the love she exemplified.
