As we prepare to celebrate the life of our precious friend Mary this weekend, I’m taking comfort in this quotation.
Life is eternal, love is immortal, death is only an horizon, and an horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.     –Bede Jarrett, O.P.
I take comfort in knowing that Mary now knows the mysteries that all the rest of us can only guess at. She has sailed beyond the horizon and she sees the whole picture now.
And if there are cameras in heaven, I know she’s taking photo after photo, joyfully.
