There are tons of things I don’t know about parenting. Â I don’t know how to make kids love vegetables, or what I can do to keep the living room free of stray Legos, or why small boys find fake flatulence to be so sidesplittingly hilarious.
But I do know that when the evening sky looks like this, you need to drop everything and call the kids to come out on the front lawn and gaze at it with you. Â The bedtime routine can wait.
And I do know there is something holy about standing on the lawn on a warm  September evening, your two little pajama-clad boys by your side, savoring the sunset.
